Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Ted Tours Jamaica, we categorize our services based on the operational preparation required. This ensures flexibility for our guests while covering committed costs with our local drivers and venue partners.
By booking any service with Ted Tours Jamaica, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Standard Services (No Advance Preparation Required)

This policy applies to all bookings that do not require upfront third-party reservations, activity ticket purchases, or catering preparations (such as standard point-to-point private transit, airport transfers, and hourly chauffeur services).

  • 24 Hours or More Notice: 100% Full Refund.

  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: Non-refundable.

2. Prepared Experiences & Tours (Advance Preparation Required)

This policy applies to all custom excursions, guided day tours, and premium experiences that involve upfront coordination, such as purchasing attraction entry tickets, reserving private guides, or ordering food/beverage setups.

  • 72 Hours or More Notice: 100% Full Refund.

  • 48 Hours Notice (Conditional Review): Eligibility for a full refund depends on whether upfront funds have already been spent to secure your itinerary. If Ted Tours Jamaica has not yet incurred non-refundable vendor costs (e.g., pre-purchased tickets or catering deposits), a 100% full refund will be gladly issued. If non-refundable costs have already been paid out to partners, a partial refund or a 100% digital credit voucher will be provided, minus those specific non-recoverable expenses.

  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: Strictly non-refundable due to fully locked-in operational costs and driver scheduling.

3. Flight Delays & Airline Cancellations

While Ted Tours Jamaica monitors general flight schedules, it is the client’s responsibility to notify us immediately of any delays or cancellations. * In the Event of a Delay: You must notify us via WhatsApp or email with your updated arrival details as soon as you are aware of the change. Once we receive your notice, we will gladly reschedule your pickup to match your new arrival time at no additional charge.

  • Failure to Notify: If your flight is delayed or cancelled and you do not provide us with updated notice prior to your original scheduled pickup time, your booking may be classified as a No-Show.

4. No-Shows

Failing to arrive at your designated pickup location (airport arrivals terminal, villa, or hotel lobby) at the scheduled time without prior written notification will be classified as a "No-Show." No-shows are strictly non-refundable as the vehicle and driver were fully deployed to meet you.

5. Weather and Operator Cancellations

If Ted Tours Jamaica must cancel a scheduled experience due to unsafe weather conditions, natural events, or unexpected local disruptions, you will be offered the choice of an immediate free reschedule or a 100% full refund.

6. How to Request a Modification or Cancellation

All requests must be submitted directly via email or our official business WhatsApp line. The digital timestamp on your message serves as the official confirmation time for calculating your refund window.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are routed directly back to the original payment card or gateway account used at checkout. Depending on your banking institution's international processing turnaround, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the balance to reflect in your account.
